In partnership with the Day Worker Center of Mountain View and directed by volunteer Naomi Zamir. Seven Quilts are displayed, created block by block by the day workers. Each square depicts the stories, memories, dreams, ideas and hopes of the day worker who created it.

Our Community Through the Eyes of Children

This exhibit showcases artistic response to the question: "Los Altos is a community of ...", by K-6 students participating in the Los Altos School District's 4-week summer school program at Almond School. The art project provides a unique opportunity to express creativity around this theme. Resulting works are on display in the J.Gilbert Smith House Gallery and first floor conference room.

The Los Altos History Museum welcomes Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy to the Smith Gallery located upstairs in the J. Gilbert Smith House. The exhibit tells the history of Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy, Americas' beloved duo introduced in1918, and showcases over 60 dolls adopted by Diane Simmons over the last 40 years.
