Rooted in Time is a geographical exploration of the history of Hidden Villa, a 1600-acre property located in Los Altos Hills. The exhibit follows the property’s evolution, from the indigenous peoples who first resided there, to its role as the home of the Duveneck family, a gathering place for social justice, and its present-day mission as a farm and wilderness preserve focused on environmental education. The story of Hidden Villa is brought to life through photos, stories, artifacts, and signage, in collaboration with Hidden Villa’s archives department.
