Learn more about women disrupters who built Silicon Valley and continue to shape the digital world.

Presenter and tech veteran Nomi Trapnell will explore the history of early female trailblazers, the declining participation of women in the field, and current efforts to attract more young women to STEM careers.

Julia Lovin past Museum president, and Senior VP, Digital Portfolio Management and Investment Planning for Wells Fargo, will lead a panel discussion. Panelists include:

  • Marguerite Desko, Lead Software Engineer, BigCommerce
  • Diane Gabl Kratz, Senior Intellectual Property Counsel, Fortune 500 Tech Company
  • Saroj Pathak, CEO and President, Explorabox
  • Shawne Van Deusen-Jeffries, Business Operations Senior Manager, Juniper Networks

The event is free to attend. 

This event is in support of the exhibition, “Rise Up! The Fight for Women’s Suffrage” appearing in the Museum’s main gallery, August 20, 2020 – January 2021.
