On October 23rd, National “Imagine A Day Without Water,” take some time to reflect on the importance of the water supply in Los Altos and Los Altos Hills and learn more about its protection. Learn from the experts at Cal Water how they protect and provide this most precious resource to our community. They’ll share information about their risk management and mitigation plans, and how they assure their ability to provide water even after a disaster. Then learn about what you can do at home to prepare and ensure you have an adequate water supply on-hand.
This workshop is free and in support of the exhibition “Our Community Prepares: Acts of Nature, Then and Now” appearing in the Museum’s Main Gallery, noon-4pm, Thursdays-Sundays, October 17 – January 19, 2020.
