Lecture: Author Barbara Wilcox, is a longtime journalist and writer who was awarded Stanford University’s Prize for Excellence in Historical Writing for research that led to the writing of the book upon which this lecture is based: World War I Army Training by San Francisco Bay (The Story of Camp Fremont).

The lecture will take place in the Los Altos Library, Orchard Room.

This program is in support of “Over Here: Americans at Home in World War I“ on exhibit in the Museum’s main gallery Gallery, noon-4pm, Thursdays-Sundays, April 4-May 27, and its follow-on exhibition, “Right Here: Our Local Stories” June 1-July 1, 2018.
