Demanding careers and family responsibilities always take priority over satisfying our desires to be creative and make art. Many people don’t get to explore their creativity until retirement. In this presentation, Denise Howard and Doreen Cohen will share their insights and tips on how to fit art into your busy life right now or return to your art later in life.
Denise is both a software engineer and an award-winning professional artist. Doreen is a retired Project Manager who is enjoying time for a renewed interest in artistic endeavors. Both Denise and Doreen are active members of the Colored Pencil Society of America as well as other art-related organizations here in the community.
The event is free to attend and will be held in person AND via Zoom. Registration is required and enables attendance to either venue.
This event is in support of the exhibition, “Annie Knapp Fitz Paints” appearing in the Museum’s Main Gallery September 9, 2021 – February 6, 2022.
