Paper Lanterns, documents the story of Shigeaki Mori, a Japanese historian from Hiroshima, who made it his life’s work to memorialize 12 American POWs who were casualties of the atomic bomb in Hiroshima. The film’s director commented after telling Mr. Mori’s story, “the road to peace isn’t easy, but it stars with one step.”
