Dancing through the Decades: Entertaining the 20s

Join us as we celebrate the 20s!

We’re putting on the ritz with a Roaring 20s-themed night of music and dancing, wine and cocktails, a delicious supper-club, and decorations of period artifacts from our Collection. We’ll roll out the red carpet for this signature fundraising event, debuting a new tradition of celebrating the best of each decade while raising funds for the Museum’s operations.

Saturday, April 2, 2022
5:30 pm: Sip on wine and cocktails
7:00 pm: Dine on dishes served supper-club style in an art-deco-themed tent as a classic silent movie plays
7:30 pm: Bid on 1920s-themed items at our silent and live auctions
8:30 pm – 10:30 pm: Enjoy dessert, and dance to the sounds of Top Shelf Big Band
Dancers from Areté Dance Center will kick off the dancing with the Charleston

1920’s attire encouraged!

Proceeds support the Museum’s exhibitions, programs, events, collections, facilities and staff salaries. A special fund-a-need opportunity will raise funds for a unique component of the new permanent exhibition, which will feature cutting-edge technology for an immersive and interactive experience, featuring place-based storytelling and object-based learning. The exhibition is slated to open in early 2023.

Safety Precautions
Dancing through the Decades will be held in strict compliance with Santa Clara County COVID-19 regulations in effect on April 2nd. Full vaccination is required for guest entry. We are making accommodations to ensure everyone’s health and safety. Most activities will take place outdoor in our heated “silver screen tent.”
