Apricot STEM Fair

Explore hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) activities with apricot-themed and nature-inspired fun for the whole family. This interactive event takes place in the Museum’s courtyard.

Attendees can:

• Meet the orchardist and bring your garden-related questions
• Witness DNA being extracted from apricots and strawberries
• Enjoy robotics demonstration from Menlo Park Narleaotters
• Engage in natural and artificial activities with Explorabox and the Kiwanis Club of Los Altos
• Learn about the language and dance of bees and see a hive in action from Dave’s Backyard Bees
• Connect with ham radio operators and learn about the technology
• At 1pm, listen to a lecture by Robin Chapman, author of California Apricots: The Lost Orchards of Silicon Valley. Book signing at 2pm.
