Members, volunteers, and guests enjoyed laughter, camaraderie, buffet and dancing with friends to lively local band amidst the the Museum’s oaks at the Member and Guests Party.
Friends and family of world-renowned Chinese painter, Hau Beiren, also known as Paul Hau, gathered at the History Museum for a private reception to honor his 100th year and celebrate his upcoming exhibit. A Los Altos resident for nearly 60 years, Mr. Hau’s works will be on view at the Museum Oct. 13-Nov.13.

Katsuko Thielke and her students provided a 2-day flower show with live demonstrations before standing-room only audiences at the Los Altos Library. Illustrating the traditional art of Japanese flower design, the program ties to the Museum’s exhibit, Spirits Return: Cultural Traditions Keeping Memories Alive.
