Muralist shares her story in museum program

Los Altos muralist Morgan Bricca is scheduled to deliver the presentation “Adventures in Mural Painting” 7-8:30 p.m. Sept. 23 at the Los Altos History Museum, 51 S. San Antonio Road.

Many of Bricca’s colorful murals can be found on the walls of local schools, including her “Los Altos Orchard Mural” at Santa Rita School and her “Peace in Our World” butterfly mural at Oak Avenue School. She designed a playful collage of Los Altos for the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds, and her image of Yosemite Valley graces a wall at the Arrillaga Outdoor Education Center at Stanford University.

She has painted murals on restaurants, residential homes, a brewery, a bus, even a bear – the fiberglass grizzly at Veterans Community Plaza on the corner of State and Main streets – and her clients range from commercial to public and…cont.
