Conservation Photographers Headline History Museum Program

The Los Altos History Museum has scheduled a free Zoom program, “A 27-Year Wildflower Journey,” 5 p.m. Thursday, supplementing its current exhibition, “Beauty and the Beast: California Wildflowers and Climate Change.”

Conservation photographers Rob Badger and Nita Winter will present photographs of wildflowers in California’s diverse geographic areas and share their techniques for capturing such images. The husband-and-wife team creates all the photographs in the field, lugging 80 pounds of cameras and “natural light” studio equipment from below sea level in Death Valley National Park to 13,000-foot-high mountain passes.
