Jane Reed Tribute

By September 4, 2020June 2nd, 2021News

Jane Reed has spent over two decades as a key supporter and driving force behind the Los Altos History Museum’s exhibits, programs, committees, and special events. After 52 years in Los Altos, Jane and her husband, John, will be moving to southern California in early October.

In Jane’s honor, the Museum has created a tribute fund to support an initiative near to her heart. Donations received in Jane’s name will exclusively benefit our Main Gallery Changing Exhibits—the award-winning exhibitions program that she worked tirelessly to help bring to the community year after year.

We hope you will join us in this tribute to Jane Reed by giving a gift in support of her favorite Museum program. You are also invited to leave memories of Jane below.

Jane will receive a commemorative list of all donations made in her honor.

The development of the Museum has been such a wonderful experience for me, I have met so many dear friends, and it has been the perfect fit for my lifetime interests in history and art and working to build community.

Nan Geschke, one of Jane’s good friends and admirers, has agreed to match all donations up to $5,000.
