The Los Altos History Museum buildings are temporarily closed for visits. With the focus on the health and safety of our visitors, volunteers and staff, we are aligned with local and federal guidelines to help contain the spread of COVID-19.
Per County and State Guidelines, outdoor operations have resumed. The Rise Up! temporary exhibit has been mounted on the porch of the J. Gilbert Smith House and the permanent outdoor Agricultural Exhibition is available for self-guided tours.
Docents are on hand during the Museum’s regular open hours (Thursday-Sunday, noon-4pm) to aid visitors’ exhibit experience as weather and availability permit. An outside mini-store, selling Rise Up!-themed items among other hand-curated gifts, is available from 1-3pm on these days.
Exhibit, event and program status will be noted on the website calendar. For additional questions please contact staff via their following email links or hello@losaltoshistory.org
Thank you for your ongoing support. As a community gathering place we value the importance of being together, but recognize the importance right now of working through this collectively. We hope to see you soon.
