“In a time when we are all leading hectic lives, museums offer us a chance to catch
our breath and spend time with family and friends learning new things or rediscovering
things we have forgotten. We are proud to be part of the Year of the Museum, focusing
attention not just on the Los Altos History Museum, but on the ways that museums across
the country enrich our lives each and every day.” - former museum president Julie Rose |

Los Altos Impressions
Juried Art Show
August 24 through October 15, 2006
Part two of our summer exhibit, "Los Altos Impressions," features original artwork of forty-one artists from Los Altos and Los Altos Hills, chosen by Tony May, Professor of Art, Emeritus, San Jose State University (1967-2005). A prolific artist in his own right, with an affinity for our area's historical roots, his teaching and work covers a wide variety of studio art disciplines.
