Fall Antiques Show

Fall Antiques Show 2009, Sunday, October 18, 10am-4pm, Hillview Ctr

Sunday, October 18, 10:00AM - 4:00 PM. Coming soon to the Hillview Center is the California Country Antique Americana Show & Sale. The Los Altos History Museum, as the sponsor of this event, promises a better show than ever before.The upcoming show includes outstanding dealers. Browse through top quality country furniture, folk arts, quilts, hooked rugs, samplers, woodenware, baskets, stoneware, paintings, pewter, iron, brass, lighting, toys, and holiday items. These wonderful items will be prices to meet everyone’s budget so all will be able to bring home a magnificent piece of Americana. In addition to the indoor and outdoor areas of Hillview Community Center, crafts demonstrations will be set up on the History Museum’s patio. With those dealers will be artisans of early American crafts. There, one will have the opportunity to purchase the completed works of these artists. There will also be live American folk music and delicious food and drinks for sale.Visitors to the show will pay a $9.00 admission fee ($6.00 after 11:00 AM.)

The History Museum complex is admission FREE.

Visitors are welcome to enjoy the gardens even when the house
and museum are closed. Picnic tables are available for lunch under the heritage oaks.

Self-Guided and Docent Tours Available
Explore the main museum on your own or opt for a docent guided tour at no additional charge. The J. Gilbert Smith House requires a docent guide. A free audio tour is available at the Museum Store for the upper level permanent exhibit. Special tours may be scheduled for groups of ten or more. A month’s lead time is required. Please call 650.948.9427, Ext. 89.

We are closed New Year’s Day, Easter, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas.
